My Morning Smoothie

Morning meals are an important step for starting my day off with plenty of energy and focus. I find in warmer months I tend to be less hungry when I wake up, so I prefer to have a smoothie for breakfast. My favorite smoothie packs a punch and is just as satisfying in the fall/winter as it is in the spring/summer. It has so much in it and tastes great too. Check out the recipe below and let me know what you think!

• 1 cup of organic berries (your choice of berries, frozen or not)
• 1/2 acai frozen ‘bar’
• 1 wheatgrass frozen cube
• 1 E3 Live frozen cube
• ¼ avocado
• ½ banana
• 1 scoop of Greens detoxifier powder
• 1 scoop of Hemp protein & Fiber powder
• 1 scoop of maca powder
• 1 scoop of cacao nibs
• 1 tbsp flax oil
• 1 tbsp coconut oil
• 1/2 cup coconut water
• 1/2 cup almond or rice milk
• 1/4 cup of water

Additions that can be added; 1 cup of spinach, 1 cup of kale, 1 tbsp of chia seeds, pinch of cayenne pepper, a handful of almonds – be creative and experiment! Happy drinking 🙂
